Bid Specifications

Before downloading the plans and specifications, agreement must be reached as to the following and which agreement is deemed to meet the requirements of SDCL 5-18B-1 as a copy of the same and which is herewith provided without charge:

• I/we agree that we are solely responsible to download all pertinent files and we understand that there may be multiple files to download. All downloadable files as attached hereto or as to subsequently be attached hereto which may need to be reviewed and fully and accurately completed for our bid to be accurately submitted to the City of Huron.
• I/we agree that my name or our company name will be added to the plan holders list.
• I/we are solely responsible for checking the website for any addenda that may subsequently be issued by the City.
• I/we agree that we must indicate a reason for the download and this reason will be added to the plan holders list. I understand, however, that this function is provided merely as a courtesy to the contracting community and regardless of what reason is given for the download, it does not exclude me or my company from bidding as a prime contractor on the project.
• I/we agree that when an electronic estimate of quantities is provided, the City makes no representation or warranties, express or implied, with respect to the reuse of the data provided herewith, regardless of its electronic file format or the means of transmission. There is no guarantee or representation to the user as to the accuracy, completeness, suitability, or reliability of this data for any purpose. The user accepts the City's data "as is" and, as such, I/we voluntarily agree to assume all risks associated with its use including, but not limited to, discrepancies and/or problems arising from a translation process, formula errors, etc.
• I/we agree that by downloading data from the City, the user agrees not to transmit this data or provide access to it or any part of it to another party. In addition, I/we understand and agree that the City assumes no responsibility and/or liability for any damage incurred as a result of any user's reliance on this data.
