The City of Huron has implemented a new Electronic Alerts feature called !E-Alerts for residents to receive alerts and public announcements via text message and/or email. This new feature replaces Nixle which the city has used in the past, and is provided without charge. Users will not receive any advertising, spam, or junk mail by subscribing to !E-Alerts. You will only receive official communications by your choice of text messaging, email, or both.
Notifications Include:
- Alerts --- snow alerts, crime alerts, weather events, water main breaks, street closings, road work, etc.
- Announcements --- reminders of major community events such as Harvest Fest, Parade of Lights, Wheel Jam, etc.
