Friends of the Library
Friends of the Library is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization of individuals interested in promoting and supporting the collections and services of the Huron Public Library. The Friends run Smithy's Used Books to raise money for Library projects. The Friends hold an annual meeting each year in September.

Smithy’s Used Books (Run by Friends of the Library)
Book sale items are received through community donations and/or library discards. Used books and magazines are sold at bargain prices. Book sale room is open during normal library hours. Proceeds from the book sales are used to support special collections and/or programs.
Memorials & Donations
The Huron Public Library Trustees Memorial Fund has been established to accept your donation to the library. Use of your donation may be specified. For more information, contact Shirley Apley at the library, 353-8530.
The Huron Public Library forms partnerships with local organizations and businesses whose missions align with the Library's in an effort to supplement and expand programs, resources, and services for the Community of Huron. This partnership may come in the way of donations, grants, or volunteer help.
