About the program

Huron Public Library invites all ages (birth to adult) to the library during June and July for eight weeks of reading, learning and having fun!

Amazing Reading Race 2014



 
Get your team together for this year's Amazing Reading Race!

Wee Readers (Birth to 2 years old)

• June 16th – July 3rd
• June 16th , 10:00 AM orientation for Wee Readers

Pick up a reading activity log, then read and do the fun activities together.  Complete 12 or more “bubbles”, get them stamped upon returning to the library for a chance at our summer reading prizes.

Children (3 years old to 5th grade)

Pick up a reading activity log; complete at least 8 activities each week to win a prize and get your name entered for the end of the summer prizes. There are great stories, crafts, movies, bingo, and special programs to attend

Teens (6th - 12th grade)

Teens "Spark a Reaction" at Huron Public Library.
Movies, gaming, crafts and activities offered.  Read and participate for prizes.

Adults

Grab a Bingo Card, complete all the activites in a line, and return it to the library for a chance at our prizes.



Fizz, Boom, Ride

Need a ride to the library? Huron Public Library is partnering with People’s Transit who are offering 1/2 price fairs for the Summer Reading Program Events.
