Associate of Arts Degree in General Studies

HURON COMMUNITY CAMPUS TO OFFER TWO-YEAR GENERAL STUDIES FOR LESS THAN ONE-TENTH THE COST OF OTHER STATE PUBLIC UNIVERSITIES! Click Here to view KELOLand's video about HCC! In partnership with Northern State University, Huron Community Campus will be offering an Associate’s Degree in General Studies. Earn the entire degree while living in the Huron area. All General Education courses will be charged at a rate of $40 per credit hour. The same courses offered at South Dakota public universities are $277 per credit hour. This degree program is a federal financial aid eligible program and will bring many options for students who enroll in the program. Students can use classes from this program to obtain a bachelor’s degree from one of the many on-line programs we have available, or they can continue their education at a different college/university after completing some or all of the degree.
English as a New Language Endorsement

The Huron Community Campus/Fine Arts Center, located at 939 Ohio Ave SW, provides access to accredited post-secondary courses and certified technical training through the use of classrooms, video conferencing and the internet.
The Campus partners with local colleges and universities to provide Master’s, Bachelor’s, and Associate’s degrees in Huron. Other non-credit community education classes are offered throughout the year.
The Fine Arts Center has a theatre used by the Huron Arts Council, Huron Area Community Theatre, Huron Symphony Orchestra, and other groups for outstanding local productions.
