Nordby Center for Recreation
The Nordby Center for Recreation offers quality social, cultural and recreational programs designed for people of all ages!  It is a premier recreational facility open year-round, seven days a week.  The facility includes a track, pool, weight room, tennis, basketball, volleyball and racquetball courts.  The center is open to both members and non-members.  It is located at 1200 Lincoln Ave.  Call 605-352-2627 or visit www.nordbycenter.org.

Dakota State Fair Speedway

Dakota State Fair Speedway is one of the top stock car racing facilities in the upper Midwest.  Located at the SD State Fairgrounds, the 3/8 mile oval track features five different divisions that compete on a weekly basis throughout the summer.  The speedway also features special races throughout the year such as the Challenge Cup featureing late models at their best.  Also featured are the ASCS National sprints, the 4th of July spectacular and the Central Wissota 100 which makes this the most exciting show in the Midwest.  Contact Dakota Promotions at 605-352-4848 or visit www.dakotapromotions.com.

Rolling Thunder Speedway

The Rolling Thunder Speedway kicks off its season the first weekend in May continuing through September.  The speedway is located east of Huron one mile west of Ninth Street and Custer Avenue.  The race track also plays host to the IKF 4-Cycle Speedway Grand Nationals.  Call 605-352-7180 or visit www.rollingthunderkarting.com.

Heartland 4-H Rodeo Grounds and SD State Fairgrounds

Bergman Community Activity Center

The Berman Community Activity Center, located at 1075 18th St SW, offers a large array of activities including ice skating, indoor soccer and basketball.  However, it is most widely known as the home of the Huron All Stars Hockey teams.  Call 605-353-8533.

Bowling

Bowling is offered at two locations in Huron. Riverview Lanes is located at the New Plains on Highway 14.  It offers a variety of bowling leagues that locals can enter and a number of activities for those of you who are just passing through.  Call 605-352-0611.  You can also join the bowling scene at Fair City Lanes where they offer competitive leagues as well.  Fair City Lanes offers numerous youth leagues and professional instruction for the competitive bone in you!  Call 605-352-8637.
