For All the Marbles…the ‘Original’ SD BBQ Championships is a Kansas City BBQ Society (KCBS) sanctioned BBQ competition with over $10,000 in cash prizes, live entertainment, the People's Choice Backyard BBQ, and the F.A.T. Friday Chili Challenge. The SD BBQ Championships is held annually in conjunction with Wheel Jam the first weekend in June at the SD State Fairgrounds. The SD BBQ Championships offers a venue with tons of camping space, camaraderie and other amenities sure to please BBQ teams of any size.
