The purpose of the Downtown Promotion Team is to create a unified downtown to market, promote a positive image, increase customer traffic, and solidify and increase sales. Its mission is to preserve downtown and to create and produce special events and activities that bring people downtown and build awareness of the goods and services that are available; to also promote downtown as a positive community gathering place to shop, do business, and have fun.
