Park Areas
The Huron Parks & Recreation Department manages and maintains the city’s park areas. Picnic shelters at Memorial, Ravine, and Riverside Parks are available for family reunions and other events. The island at Ravine Lake has a gazebo and is available for weddings and special occasions.

The Huron Parks & Recreation Department is proud to offer a wide range of activities for the whole family! Activities include arts & crafts, gymnastics, softball, soccer, swimming lessons, t-ball & coach pitch, and tennis. Registration is easy and you can add the whole family to the account. Facility & Equipment Rental

Looking for a place to hold church activities, birthday parties, graduation parties, etc? The Community Activity Center / Bergman Arena has an all-purpose gym that accommodates volleyball, basketball, soccer and tennis. Cross Country Skis can be rented for a day or weekend rate. We have numerous board games and recreational activities to offer. For more information and rental fees please contact us.

The Parks & Recreation Board meets the 2nd & 4th Wednesday of the month at 11:30a.m at the Plains Shoreline Room, 960 4th Street NE. Current board members are:
